Liberty Coach making return trip to “Mega RV Countdown”
Call it a working vacation, Liberty Coach style.
Early in August, Liberty V.P. and co-owner Frank Konigseder took time away from vacationing with the family at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to spend a day with a film crew from High Noon Entertainment.
The crew was on hand to shoot a new segment of "Mega RV Countdown," the Travel Channel's special feature showcasing "the most tricked-out, over-the-top, radical, retrofit RVs in the country." As you probably remember, a 2013 Liberty Coach was featured in the program’s January debut, finishing third overall and first among Prevost motorcoach conversions.
Liberty appears likely to play an even more prominent role in Mega RV’s “second season.” The Sturgis shoot was just one of four sessions High Noon scheduled with Liberty Coach, each one profiling a different coach and coach owner. And the model Frank chose to feature for the South Dakota segment – the brand new 2014 Keswick Edition (No. 767) – may well be the most luxury-packed coach Liberty has ever built.
“The crew shot every inch of the coach, inside and out,” Frank said. “It was a long day, but a very satisfying one. Liberty Coach never looked better.”
The new “Mega RV” segments will begin airing on the Travel Channel this fall. We’ll announce airdates as soon as they’re scheduled, so stay tuned!
