March 6
Stage is set for extended showcase in Indio

Since 2012, Motorcoach Country Club has served as Liberty Coach’s “home away from home” in the western U.S., providing an invaluable stage for the world’s finest Prevost conversion coaches throughout the winter months.

The perennial luxury motorcoach leader has already held two major showcase events so far this year, and preparations are now being finalized for the third and longest so far.

Liberty West Showcase III gets underway this Friday, March 9th, and will run through Sunday, March 25th. A pair of late model Elegant Lady coaches will be on display at Liberty’s MCC lots, which overlook the resort’s championship golf course with the Santa Rosa Mountains in the distance. A special event presented in collaboration with motorcoach financing specialist Incredible Bank is planned for Saturday, March 24th.

Liberty Lifestyle Specialist Dean Miller will once again play host for the duration of the showcase. He’s been on hand for all three Liberty West events this year, logging so much time at the luxurious Palm Springs resort that he’s starting to feel like a full-time resident.

Not that he’s complaining.

“As elite RV resorts go, Motorcoach Country Club is about the prettiest you can imagine,” he says. “There are really only a small handful of resorts that compare.”

He would know. Prior to joining Team Liberty last fall, Dean and his wife Heidi spent some 15 years living and working in a succession of Class A motorhomes and Prevost conversions – including a Liberty, of course – that provided the ideal “home office” for their luxury real estate business. That included a four-year stint from 2013 until last summer selling property at Hearthside Grove in Petoskey, Michigan, the state’s only 5-star motorcoach resort and according to Dean, one of the few that rivals the beauty and elegance of MCC.

“We loved it,” he says of living and working full-time in their coach. “It’s a more active lifestyle than what you have at home, and the relationships you develop with others in the resort are much different from the relationships most people have with their neighbors. You develop much tighter bonds, and make really good friends.”

Ironically, that’s something he’s missing during his trips to MCC, which require him to stay in a local hotel while the coaches are on display for visitors to walk through.

“When you’re in the bus, it’s essentially like being in your own house,” he says. “You have your own bedroom, your own bathroom – clothes hanging in the closet and food in the fridge. Hotel living just doesn’t compare.”

Liberty West Showcase III runs from March 9 through March 25 at Motorcoach Country Club, Indio, CA. For updates, check the event listing.
