Liberty Coach lists new Emerald demo model at new sale price of $995,000
A new Prevost conversion for under $1 million?
No, that’s not a misprint. Nor have you entered a time warp and travelled back to the 20th Century.
It’s simply an attempt to call attention to what Liberty Coach’s Frank Konigseder Jr. calls “one of the best new Prevost conversions available anywhere, at any price.”
The coach he’s referring to is not a Liberty, but rather an Emerald – specifically, the Emerald X3-45 5490, a 2016 double slide edition listed for sale on the Liberty Coach website for the almost unbelievable price of $995,000.
“In terms of value, the Emerald is like no other vehicle in its price range – and I’m talking the original price ($1,495,000),” Konigseder says. “The quality of the workmanship is obvious, and it boasts some features – like the Crestron remote control system with iPad interface – that many higher-priced coaches don’t offer.” Other noteworthy components include a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch washer/dryer, 4 roof-mounted A/C systems, and a state-of-the-art LED lighting system.
Over the past year, the coach has served as a demonstration model to showcase the Emerald brand, and has become a familiar sight at rallies across the country, particularly NASCAR events. It has been used by a number of auto racing celebrities, including NASCAR board member Lesa France Kennedy and Indy Car racer Ed Carpenter.
Now Konigseder is confident the new sub-million price tag will make buyers sit up and take notice. “It’s a steal at $995,000 – a brand new Prevost for the price of a Class A,” he says. “And by purchasing it through Liberty, the buyer will receive access to the same level of vehicle support and service that every Liberty Coach customer enjoys.”
The Emerald 5490 is now on display at Liberty Coach of Florida in Stuart, which is located just south of Port St. Lucie on the Atlantic Coast. Prospective buyers are invited to schedule a private showing in advance of visiting, and may do so via phone or email.
