1979 – First Prevost Coach Conversion
In 1979, Liberty Coach built the first coach conversion on the Prevost LeMirage XL chassis, and inked an agreement with the Canadian bus manufacturer that remains in place today.

1984 – Generator Auto Start System
Developed to eliminate the need to carry propane onboard, Liberty’s Auto Start System tied generator startup and shutoff to battery voltage levels. The system quickly became the industry standard and remains so today.
1993 – Programmable Logic Control
One of the most important advances in motorcoach technology came in 1993, when Liberty introduced the first electrical system to employ programmable logic control, which allowed most coach systems to be operated by computer.
2010 – “Green” Battery System
In 2010, Liberty scrapped its old lead-acid batteries for the far lighter, safer, and more powerful lithium ion phosphate battery system. The move resulted in weight reduction of up to 1,000 lbs. per coach while enhancing generator efficiency.
2016 – Tier 4-Certified Energy System
2016 saw the arrival of the industry’s first solution to the EPA’s strict Tier 4 emissions standards as Liberty introduced a new system powered by Volta Power Systems’ revolutionary 58-volt lithium ion batteries.
2020 – Blindspot Detection System
In 2020, Liberty debuted its proprietary Blindspot Detection System, a radar-based system that alerts the driver to the presence of moving vehicles on either side of the coach – the first such system available on Prevost conversion coaches.
CoPilot RV Navigation
Our cutting edge vehicle guidance system combines the powerful CoPilot RV offline navigation app with onboard cellular iPad capabilities to provide “anywhere, anytime” GPS service – even in ISP dead zones.
Lower Bay E-Center
Our coaches have always set the standard for outdoor entertainment with multi-media entertainment centers that include the latest in oversize ultra-HD TVs as well as a Integra/KEF stereo system, larger refrigerator and plenty of storage.
STRUT Launchport iPad Chargers
Liberty Coach takes the convenience of wireless iPad control to a new level with a pair of elegant STRUT Launchport iPad charging stations, including one mounted in the coach’s dashboard.
