Let’s Get This Party Rollin’!

“What a brilliant idea!”

That’s Frank Konigseder’s take on “Rick & Lesley’s Rolling Rally,” the upcoming springtime group road trip conceived by Rick and Lesley Smith, the husband-and-wife owners of River Landings Resort in LaBelle, Florida.

Liberty Coach is one of four sponsors of the ambitious event, which will kick off at River Landings on April 14. Over the following three weeks, participants will visit 5 states and travel over 1,500 miles before reaching their final destination in St. Peters, Missouri on May 1, just northwest of St. Louis. Stops along the way will include an extended stay with the Prevost Prouds in Savannah GA as well as NASCAR racing in Talladega AL and a night at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. “We originally envisioned a trip for first-time Prevost owners and others who own a bus but haven’t traveled much with it,” Rick said. “The intent is to help you get comfortable with your coach and visit some destinations that maybe you have not traveled to in the past, and maybe more important, to relate with other owners as we spend time together on the road.”

Rally participation is limited to 15 coaches; a number of slots are still available as the February 27 registration deadline approaches. Total cost of the trip is $6,100, which includes the $1,995 registration fee for the Prevost Prouds Rally as well as catered meals and group activities scheduled at each stop along the way.
