As often as we’ve all heard that claim, it’s hard to argue that for Liberty Coach buyers, that time has arrived.
For the first time in memory, the longtime luxury Prevost bus conversion leader has not one, not two, but three brand new 2015 Elegant Lady motorcoaches available for sale at the same time.
The trio includes a pair of exclusive Fairfax Double-Slide Editions (Stock Nos. 775 and 776), and a one-of-a-kind Quad-Slide plan dubbed the Torello Edition (Stock No. 777). All three are strictly state-of-the-art inside and out, featuring an abundance of Liberty exclusives like one-of-a-kind custom paint jobs by world-renowned automotive artist Dean Loucks. Two of the three Liberty’s also include Prevost’s revolutionary new “Over the Road” Bus HVAC system.
It’s a fluke that all three are available simultaneously, considering the unprecedented success Liberty Coach has enjoyed the past few years. In fact, 2013 saw the bus conversion company build and sell its entire production run of 2014 model year coaches – for the first time in Liberty’s 42-year history. As a result, they experienced the exact opposite of today’s inventory surplus, going a good portion of the fourth quarter with no new coaches at all.
And that is the more likely scenario going forward, says Liberty V.P. and co-owner Frank Konigseder, noting that the 2014 selling season is just beginning to heat up. “One thing that’s nice about having a couple of extra motorcoaches is it gives us a much better chance to get them out to where the buyers are,” he points out. “For us, that means extended stays at The Aztec in Mardale, Florida (just outside Ft. Lauderdale) and our West Coast home, The Motorcoach Country Club in Indio, California (Palm Springs area).”
It also includes a heavy schedule of RV rallies across the U.S., culminating in an extended 5-day stay over Memorial Day weekend at the Charlotte Speedway for the annual NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 and other holiday races. Konigseder expects his “masterpiece trio” to draw plenty of interest at every stop.
