It’s a “Blockbuster Summer” at Liberty Coach
2018 is shaping up to be the year of the summer blockbuster, and we’re not just talking about the movies. In the luxury motorhome arena, Liberty Coach is leading the pack with one of the strongest inventories of pre-owned Prevost motorcoaches the market has seen in years.
Among the featured attractions are four Elegant Lady coaches priced under $1 million – a rarity for the longtime quality leader in the premium luxury bus conversion category. The value-priced collection includes a 2008 Ashton Edition (Stock No. 830-B) priced at $799,000 and three 2009 models – a Merano Double Slide (Stock No. 5269-B), Ashton Double-Slide (Stock No. 5291-A), and Bedroom SuperSlide Edition (Stock No. 818-A) – offered at $899,000.
Even more unusual than those price points is the presence of an advertised price at all. It’s something Liberty Coach usually refrains from using in marketing its coaches, says managing partner Frank Konigseder, Jr.
“Price is just one basis of comparison for RV shoppers, and from our standpoint, the most misleading,” he says. He points to engineering and technology, design excellence, and professional craftsmanship, all areas where Liberty’s superiority is well established. “When you consider what your money buys, there’s really no comparison.”
That’s especially true when service and support are added to the equation. “When we say our pre-owned coaches are delivered in ‘like-new’ condition, we’re not exaggerating,” Konigseder continues. “Each one undergoes hours of meticulous detailing, inside and out, and the most exhaustive PDI in the business.” And after delivery, he adds, every pre-owned coach owner is afforded the same privileges and priorities as a new coach owner. “You’re part of the Liberty family.”
So why advertise price now? Konigseder says it’s about opening the eyes – and minds – of shoppers who might think a Liberty Coach is simply beyond their reach.
“People are often surprised that a pre-owned Liberty is often very competitively priced compared to new high-end Class A motorhomes,” he says. And that’s by no means limited to the four “summer blockbusters” listed for under $1 million. “Take a good look at our current inventory,” he finishes. “You’ll find something for every budget.”
